Hunt Tests

A hunt test is an event where a gun dogs natural ability and training, are evaluated against a set of written standards. Each dog that meets these standards passes the test. This type of event differs from a field trail, where each dog/handler team competes against one another with only one team being declared the winner.
 
The Copper State Hunting Retriever Club currently conducts hunt tests as governed by the following organizations:
