Copper State Hunting Retriver Club
Copper State HRC (CSHRC) is a club in Arizona, that is dedicated to the
Hunting Retriever. CSHRC was founded in 1997. We are affiliated with the
American Kennel Club (AKC) and the
North American Hunting Retriever Association (NAHRA). Much of our effort is in preparing our dogs for competition and
Hunt Tests sponsored by these two organizations, but we also have numerous occasions to get together for just plain social events. Many of our dogs are trained for the purpose of actually hunting in the field with their partners, while others will be used only for competition both in our state and around the country. We hold monthly
Training Days where experienced handlers can help less experienced dog owners with problems they may be having with their dogs and just give them an opportunity to work in a simulated hunting\testing atmosphere. Also seminars, pheasant hunts, snake break clinics, and outdoor expo dog demonstrations are regularly held.
If any of this is of interest to you, I hope you will give our club a try. Please make arrangements through one of our
contacts listed on this web site to join us at a training day or even a hunt test day to see what we are all about.
