Copper State Hunting Retriver ClubAbout our Club Since 1997, the Copper State Hunting Retriever Club (CSHRC) has been actively working to preserve the hunting instincts of retrievers in Arizona. We organize and participate in a variety of events and activities that educate, and enhance our sport. Many of these events are to preparing our dogs for hunt tests and field hunting, as many of our dogs participate in events across the country. However, we also have members whom neither hunt nor test their dogs, and just come out for the opportunity to work with the dogs in a simulated hunt/test atmosphere. We are affiliated with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the North American Hunting Retriever Association (NAHRA) and hold annual hunt tests on their behalf. You also might see us demonstrating our sport at an exposition, where we attempt to educate the public on what a hunting retriever does. These events are becoming extremely popular, and are solid examples of how our club has a great time advancing the sport in our area.
